Come for A chat 7 P.M. October 18, 2026 at *TBD*
Who We Are
We are University District residents and home owners with a goal to serve the University District; to connect diverse residents through people-first, thoughtful, respectful, responsible and cooperative community engagement; and to foster and enrich a sense of community and belonging through social, recreational and community programs and events.
The goal to establish a Community Association at the University District is a new initiative to build community and connection, and to define our community values. We are looking for like-minded dedicated individuals to establish a Steering Committee. The first scheduled meeting will be confirmed soon - tentatively Wednesday, October 14 at 7 P.M. For additional information, please email: contact@UD-CA.ca

TERRITORIAL LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, the proposed University District Community Association both acknowledges and pays tribute to the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Districts 5 & 6.
